Sandra L. Jesse - General Counsel Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc.
"Having grown up in the Midwest and far away from oceans, I spent summers at fresh water lakes and still love the clear, cool crispness of diving into a lake. I have a ski house in Maine and love to explore the nearby lakes in the summer around Bethel, Maine."

"Going to the beach is an elemental thing for me as long as there are no boom boxes. I don't need much: soft white sand, nice waves for body surfing, a reclining chair that does not give me a sore neck, a good book, sun block, a good beach cafe, and a nice reggae band playing in the distance. For me, the most sublime beach for this is Cane Bay in St. Croix, USVI."

"My favorite spot for a swim is off of my boat in Nantucket Sound. It's nice to go right off of Monomoy Island and swim with the seals as opposed to swimming with the sharks at many legal meetings."

"My favorite "beach/swimming hole" is right off my dock at my lakehouse on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire." |

"An unnamed cove on Moosehead Lake, just off of Sloper Lane in Greenville, Maine. I have spent many hours swimming (and floating on rafts) in the cove with my childhood friend Marion and her family each summer since I was 12. The water temperature rarely climbs above 70 degrees, but we still swim!"

"LeCounts Hollow in Wellfleet. It’s a town beach, but like many of the National Seashore beaches, it has towering sand dunes as far as you can see north and south and great waves at low tide. And if you really feel like walking, you can go for miles in either direction." |

Peter Zupcofska - Burns & Levinson LLP
"We have a condo directly on Fort Lauderdale Beach and can go out the door, walk the white sandy beach at sunrise, swim in warm, clear ocean water all day and be lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing surf no matter the season!"

"For just about as long as I can remember I have been going to LeCounts Hollow Beach in Wellfleet. As a kid I spent summers there, virtually every day from 10 in the morning until 4 or 5 in the afternoon and then off to a pond to rinse off the salt water. I have fond memories of hiking up and down the dunes with enough gear to set up camp on the beach for a week. These days I get out there less often and have to settle for a local pool on hot days, it has a diving board and I don't have to vacuum sand out of the floor mats but it isn't quite the same."

Randy Gioia - Solo Practitioner
"My favorite beaches are down in southern Jersey and Delaware. The water temperature is just right, the sand is soft, the beach is wide and flat and the lifeguards are very strong - just perfect for poor swimmers like me."
