"If you could argue one case from history, which would it be and why?"

Pamela A. Harbeson – Looney & Grossman LLP
“I would argue Brown v. Board of Education because overruling the "separate but equal" doctrine allowed for all children, regardless of race, to have equal access to public education.  These issues, argued more than a half a century ago, are still crucial to our society and the future of our country.”

Michael Koehler – Student, Suffolk University Law School and Co-Chair of Law Student Committee for BBA New Lawyers Section
“I would have liked to have argued any of the cases related to the Cape Wind project because Cape Wind and renewable energy projects like it herald the beginning of an energy supply transformation that will hopefully lead to a cleaner environment and fewer military engagements across the world.”

Kenneth J. Mickiewicz – Davis, Malm & D’Agostine, P.C.
“I would argue United States v. Burr.  Aaron Burr himself addressed the U.S. Supreme Court with John Marshall, Chief Justice, writing the opinion.  The court case had everything from extraordinary participants, never seen or decided constitutional issues involving the President and executive privilege, and rights of criminal defendants.  It led straight to United States v. Nixon.”

Kevin B. Currid – Foley Hoag LLP
“I would have loved to argue Brown v. Board of Education (1954) because it was a turning point and provided a glimmer of hope that our society would finally recognize that all people truly are Equal before the Law.  We unfortunately still have a long road to travel, but the progress we have made because of Brown and the cases that followed have benefited and should inspire us all.”
