Duane Morris Names New Chairman Duane Morris* has announced that John Soroko will serve as the eighth chairman and chief executive officer of the firm. Soroko, a 1977 graduate of New York University School of Law, previously served as chairman of the 300-attormey trial practice group and vice-chairman of the firm. Soroko succeeds Sheldon Bonovitz, chairman for the past 10 years who plans to remain active within the firm. According to The National Law Journal, the number of attorneys at the firm nearly doubled and profits per equity partner nearly tripled during Bonovitz's tenure. |
