Weinman’s Advice to Women Almost 70 women heard four of Boston’s most savvy female attorneys discuss the best ways to present themselves at the office, in court and to clients, as well as how to avoid common mistakes at the recent BBA New Lawyers Section’s meeting "Succeeding as a Woman in the Legal Profession - Beyond the Scope of Emily Post." Perhaps the best advice of the afternoon came from BBA President-Elect Kathy B. Weinman, a partner at Dwyer & Collora, LLP*, who advised the crowd to use the BBA as a networking venue. Also on the panel were Lauren Stiller Rikleen, a partner at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP and the author of Ending the Gauntlet: Removing Barriers to Women's Success in the Law (Thomson Legalworks, 2006), Marguerite Fletcher Ingram, a senior consultant at Vernā Myers Consulting Group, LLC, and Paula K. Andrews, a partner at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP*. Kudos to event moderators Jennifer M. Ryan, of Dwyer & Collora, LLP*, and Tanya K. Oldenhoff of Sloane & Walsh, LLP. In case you missed it, a DVD of the event can be purchased by members for $30 and by non-members for $40. Please contact Katie Elmore at kelmore@bostonbar.org to order the DVD or with any questions.
