In Memoriam: Mark Sweeney
The BBA mourns the loss of Mark Sweeney, First Assistant Corporation Counsel of the City of Boston Law Department, who passed away from lung cancer on January 27. A recognized expert on municipal law, including the City Charter, municipal finance, and legislative powers, Mark mentored many attorneys with his encyclopedic knowledge and easygoing manner. His keen intellect, quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed by his co-workers. A funeral service was held earlier this week.
