WilmerHale Names First Pickering Fellow
David A. Giordano, an associate in WilmerHale’s* Intellectual Property Department, was selected as the firm’s first Pickering Fellow. David will work full-time for six months at the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children (MLPC) at Boston Medical Center*, providing legal services to patient-families, with a specific focus on housing law, and staffing MLPC’s weekly legal clinic at the Upham’s Corner Health Center. "The firm is thrilled to be dedicating resources in John Pickering’s honor to such a critical community resource," said Jack Regan, Co-Chair of WilmerHale's Pro Bono and Community Service Committee and BBA Vice-President. "From our perspective, this couldn’t be a better match: the organization benefits from the infusion of our staff talent, and our associate benefits from the rich opportunities to hone his lawyering skills working in the public interest." *BBA Sponsor Firms and Organizations |
