Kudos Christine Wichers and Lisa Gaulin
Christine J. Wichers and Lisa M. Gaulin, both of Choate Hall & Stewart LLP*, received 2008 Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards for their efforts on behalf or a Pakistani mother who lost custody of her four children after being abandoned by her Pakistani husband while living in the United States. Without documentation, money or English skills, the woman was forcibly separated from her four children and deported to Pakistan. Christine and Lisa worked tirelessly and successfully to help the woman regain custody of her younger children. Christine is on the Steering Committee of the BBA Labor and Employment Section.
