Attorney General's Office to Discuss Predatory Lending Initiatives

Chris Barry-Smith, Assistant Attorney General, and Carol Kenner, Special Assistant Attorney General, will discuss the initiatives taken by the Office of Attorney General concerning predatory lending in the Commonwealth including:

  • current enforcement litigation;
  • c. 93A regulations governing mortgage brokers and lenders as well as foreclosure rescue transactions and services;
  • and the pro bono attorney referral hotline for MA borrowers facing foreclosure

The Bankruptcy Law Section is Co-chaired by Douglas Rosner and Donald Lassman.
