"My favorite energy-saving tip is using the newer fluorescent light bulbs instead of regular light bulbs. They last much longer than regular light bulbs and help to reduce my house's overall carbon footprint." |

Ellen S. Kief – Law Office of Ellen S. Kief
"My favorite energy savings that I enjoy is staying out of the kitchen. The easiest energy saving tip is to turn off lights and equipment. As for lighting, take advantage of the natural lighting from our beautiful sunny days. Recycle. Use tap water instead of bottled water whenever possible." |

Steve Clark –Flynn & Clark, P.C.
"I know it is not a huge saver of energy, but it is so easy: Don't idle - I turn off the ignition on my car whenever I have to idle and expect it to be more than a minute. On the other hand, turning off our computers at the office could save major kilowatts. But our IT provider runs the anti-spyware program at night, so we have to leave them on. At least we try to turn off the monitors. Even LCDs use a fair amount of energy." |

Don Lassman – Law Office of Donald R. Lassman
"I cannot tell you how much energy I am actually saving by doing this but I suspect every little bit helps. My computer backs up in middle of the night so I leave it on after hours. However, even if you must leave your computer on, you can still save energy by shutting off the computer monitors (not merely letting them 'go to sleep,' which still uses energy because they are still on), and copiers." |

Betsy Burkhard – Holland & Knight LLP
"I use Energy Star qualified fluorescent light bulbs at home, which use about 75 percent less energy than incandescent light bulbs and last a lot longer than their incandescent counterparts." |

David A. Giordano – WilmerHale
