Members of the BBA Environmental Law Section are breaking out the bubbly -- celebrating the passage of legislation to prevent and help fund the cleanup of residential heating oil releases. Christopher P. Davis, a partner at Goodwin Procter* and Susan Crane, a solo practitioner, were the BBA's laboring oars in drafting and advocacy efforts. Endorsed by the BBA Council in June 2007, the bill was signed into law by Governor Patrick earlier this week.
