Way to Go, Chris Morrison

Christopher M. Morrison, a BBA Public Interest Leadership Program alum, a member of the BBA Strategic Planning Committee and an associate at Hanify & King, won his firm’s "Passing the Bar" challenge, which encouraged associates to develop their own contacts, planting the seeds for what will eventually become their own potential client lists.

"The Networking Challenge was really the firm’s way to encourage associates to develop good habits," said Chris, whose first prize-worthy 83 new contacts won him a weekend on Cape Cod.  "It was a license to get out of the office, reconnect with old friends, and get involved in things that are important to us, even those things which were not billable."

"To succeed in tough economic times, creative, and sometimes, offbeat solutions are required," said Robert J. Perry, the firm’s Executive Director."We saw this challenge as an opportunity to have our associates engage in expanded network/marketing activities in a non-traditional way while developing cohesiveness through friendly competition."

Kudos to Hanify & King for encouraging its associates to get involved in the networking process.
