ABA Award Goes to Lynn Girton and Ken Parsigian

Lynn A. Girton, Chief Counsel to the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the BBA, and Kenneth J. Parsigian, a partner at Goodwin Procter* will be the recipients of the 2009 John Minor Wisdom Public Service and Professionalism Award, to be presented during the American Bar Association Section Annual Conference in Atlanta on May 1, 2009. The award, which is named for Judge John Minor Wisdom (best known for his courageous decisions establishing the right to vote, implementing equal educational opportunities and strengthening the right to effective counsel), recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to the quality of justice in their communities, ensuring that the legal system is open and available to all.
