Sullivan & Worcester Captures Top Pro Bono Honor When the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the BBA convenes its annual meeting on April 15, top honors will go to Sullivan & Worcester. According to the VLP, the firm has made an outstanding contribution providing pro bono representation to low-income unemployment claimants. Sullivan & Worcester began this pro bono work as a part of the VLP Summer Associate Project several years ago. Very soon after that, the firm began accepting unemployment appeals cases throughout the year. Lee Dunham at Sullivan& Worcester has been the guiding spirit behind this effort. He has been ably assisted by Paul Trumble. Both Paul and Lee have assumed much of the responsibility for ongoing training and mentoring of others in the firm. Clients report that the attorneys in the firm treat them with respect and are very effective advocates for them. |
