73 Firms Already Commit To Law Day Dinner
The Steering Committee for this year's Law Day Dinner 2009 is more than halfway to reaching their goal for the event. Congratulations to the committee, chaired by Beth Boland of Bingham McCutchen.
Law Day Dinner 2009, which will take place on Monday, June 1 at the Seaport World Trade Center, will feature Congressman Barney Frank as keynote speaker. The BBA President’s Award will be presented to all participants of the BBA Public Interest Leadership Program in recognition of their contributions as lawyer citizen leaders. Citations of Judicial Excellence will be presented to U.S. Magistrate Judge Leo Sorokin for his leadership in the Court Assisted Recovery Effort (C.A.R.E.), and Appeals Court Judge Fernande R.V. Duffly for her leadership in promoting women in the profession during her presidency of the National Association of Women Judges.
