DLA Piper Announces New Corporate & Finance Partners DLA Piper has announced that Ronald Borod and Jonathan Black have joined the firm’s Corporate and Finance practice as partners in Boston. Both will serve large roles in the development and implementation of new structures for securitization programs, helping clients capture new value from distressed assets in the capital markets. The subprime mortgage crisis and credit crunch have created a giant class of distressed assets and securitized products, including CMBS, CDO’s, ABS and CLO’s. The repackaging and restructuring of these products is expected to result in the one of the largest transfers of assets in history. At DLA Piper, Ron and Jonathan will counsel clients on the development and implementation of new structures for securitization programs, helping clients capture new value from distressed assets in the capital markets. |
