Nixon Peabody – Forrest Milder Elected to ABA Leadership Role
Nixon Peabody has announced that Boston syndication partner Forrest D. Milder has been elected chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development for the 2009–2010 year. Prior to assuming his current role, Forrest served on the Forum’s Board of Governors for several years. The 7,000-member Forum serves as the largest association of lawyers and law students active in affordable housing and community development. Forrest focuses his practice on tax advantaged investments including the tax credits that apply to affordable housing, solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and other forms of renewable energy, new markets and historic rehabilitation, as well as the tax treatment of partnerships and LLCs, tax-exempt organizations, business formation, operation and disposition, tax-exempt bonds, and other structured financial products. |
