Revised BBA Summer Jobs Scorecard

Eighteen law firms and legal departments, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the Suffolk DA's Office and the BBA have all demonstrated good corporate citizenship by committing to participating in the BBA Summer Jobs Program this year. Applications have been pouring in from many qualified Boston high school students – many of whom will remain on a waiting list without more firms or law departments joining this group. 

The BBA Summer Jobs Program, now in its 16th year, plays a number of roles: helping to widen the pipeline of Boston inner-city youth going on to college and law school, providing teens with a chance to earn money in a professional environment, and helping law firms, lawyers and staff demonstrate their concern for the community.

*Thanks to funds made available via the M. Ellen Carpenter Fund of the Boston Bar Foundation, two additional jobs will be available, one at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and another with a public sector employer to be selected.
