Lawyers at Eight Sponsor Firms Honored by Lawyers Clearinghouse

Law firm coordinators for the Massachusetts Legal Clinic for the Homeless were honored by the Lawyers Clearinghouse at its 21st annual meeting. The Legal Clinic provides on-site legal services to the guests of the Pine Street Inn, St. Francis House, Medeiros Center, and hopeFound, through a collaborative of Boston law firms. Those honored were Christian Rivera and Al Wallis of Brown Rudnick; Emily Hodge and Meghan Rhatigan of Choate, Hall & Stewart; Sean McKay of DLA Piper; Julie Frohlich of Goulston & Storrs; Jehanne Bjornebye, Nick Payton, and Colin Van Dyke of Mintz Levin; Matthew Lynch of Nixon Peabody; Sarah Clinton of Ropes & Gray; and Seth Orkand of WilmerHale.

The Lawyers Clearinghouse is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1988 by the Boston Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association. Its mission is to promote the development of affordable housing, reduce homelessness, and strengthen communities by providing pro bono legal services to nonprofit organizations and to individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
