BBA Summer jobs supporters show their mettle Demonstrating a commitment to their community even in the toughest of times, twenty law firms and legal departments as well as the Suffolk DA's Office, U. S. Bankruptcy Court and the BBA have stepped up by committing to participating in the BBA Summer Jobs Program this year. In addition, the Boston Bar Foundation’s M. Ellen Carpenter Fund will support the placement of students who will work this summer in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Committee for Public Counsel Services. Thus far, 25 students have been selected to participate in the BBA’s program this summer, but an equal amount of qualified students remain on a waiting list. In its 16th year, the program introduces Boston’s young people to the prospect of pursuing a career in law, puts money in their pocket, and connects Boston lawyers with the community in which they work. Please contact Paul Dullea at Pdullea@bostonbar.org to get your firm involved.
