Juan Concepción Named to BC’s Governing Body

Nixon Peabody has announced that Juan Alexander Concepción, an associate in the firm’s Boston office, has been appointed to the Boston College Board of Trustees. Juan’s four-year board term begins with the 2009 – 2010 academic year.   He focuses his law practice on representing major global corporations and national businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, to address their multifaceted legal needs. He advises clients on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, primarily related to labor and employment and products liability.

Daniel Kolodner Named to Preservation Massachusetts Board

The firm has also announced that Daniel J. Kolodner has been named to the Board of Directors of Preservation Massachusetts, a statewide non-profit historic preservation organization working in partnership with national, state and local preservation organizations and individuals across the Commonwealth to preserve the Commonwealth’s historic and cultural heritage.  Preservation Massachusetts actively promotes the preservation of historic buildings and landscapes as a positive force for economic development and the retention of community character. Dan, a syndication associate, concentrates his practice on community development finance, specifically the use of tax incentives as means for financing community revitalization projects.
