Foley Hoag – Michael Keating Elected Chair of Boston Foundation

Michael B. Keating, a BBA past-president, a partner at Foley Hoag and chair of the firm's Litigation Department, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of The Boston Foundation, Greater Boston’s community foundation and one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the country.  With approximately $760 million in assets, the Foundation devotes its considerable resources to building and sustaining a vital, prosperous city and region, through grant-making, high-impact philanthropy, and by serving as a hub and center of information regarding Boston’s opportunities for growth and civic agenda.  Michael has been a board member since 2004, and addition to that and his career as a seasoned trial attorney at Foley Hoag, Michael holds numerous board positions and is active in many civic and professional organizations.
