Looney & Grossman – Willis Riccio’s Historical Honor
An in-depth interview with Willis Riccio, Of Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group at Looney & Grossman, and former New England Regional Administrator of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, has been added to the Virtual Museum and Archive of the Securities & Exchange Commission Historical Society (www.sechistorical.org). The interview includes reminiscences about Willis’s first job at the SEC in 1958, his investigations of fraud and Ponzi schemes, and his efforts that resulted in the tripling of the regional staff during his tenure as SEC Regional Administrator from 1978 to 1985. Asked if he missed his SEC work, Riccio, with his characteristic wit, replies, “Once in the company, always in the company.” |
