12:00p All Politics is Local - at BBA; RSVP
As lawyers, we constantly strive to be better public servants. Many of us have an eye on public office, while others prefer to serve a supporting role. This summer we offer 2009’s installment of "All Politics is Local," a program designed to educate and inspire attorneys to become involved with political life in their communities. Attendees will benefit from the wisdom of political veterans serving in various government capacities. You will learn about the political process from the basics of starting or supporting a campaign through the rewards and challenges of becoming an elected official. Panelists: Martha M. Walz , State Representative and Chair, Joint Committee on Education; David S. Friedman, First Assistant Attorney General; and Keith Mahoney, Mayor Menino's Intergovernmental Affairs Office.
