Sunstein Kann Murphy & Timbers – New Name, Continued Independence

Sunstein Kann Murphy & Timbers (formerly Bromberg & Sunstein), a leading intellectual property law firm, has announced that the firm will remain independent and not entertain merger overtures from large international law firms.  Founding partner Bruce Sunstein said, “While our lawyers regularly face large general-practice firms in high-stakes patent and trademark litigation and other intellectual property matters, our clients rightly expect responsiveness and agility in their representation.  We believe that our present platform, with the control that it permits of our overhead, enables us to serve the litigation and patent portfolio development needs of our clients more cost-effectively.  We are grateful that our clients agree.”

Lee Bromberg will no longer be a partner of the firm.  The Sunstein firm wishes him well in his future endeavors.
