NOTICE OF VACANCY ON THE CLIENTS' SECURITY BOARD The Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court invite applications for appointment to the Clients’ Security Board. One vacancy on the Board will occur in October, 2008, due to the expiration of the term of an incumbent member. Under S.J.C. Rule 4:04, the Board manages the fund used to discharge the bar’s collective responsibility with respect to losses caused to the public by defalcations of members of the bar. For this vacancy, the Justices are interested in applications from experienced attorneys with a background in general civil and criminal litigation. Terms are for five years.
