Amid declines in interest rates compounded by declines in the number of real estate and corporate transactions, there has been an unprecedented decrease in the IOLTA funds available to legal aid programs from MLAC. While continuing to monitor the state budget crisis, the BBA will work to protect legal aid funding, and will keep you apprised of any developments requiring your attention and/or advocacy. |
