If you were leaving for a desert island and could only take one, would you take your pillow or your toothbrush along with you?"

Daniel Dufresne – Law Offices of Karen A. Zulon P.C.
"I'd take the toothbrush. (I am afraid the pillow would be adversely impacted by the absence of regular brushing on my part.) Since the question does not limit the type of toothbrush, I would bring a giant smiling plastic demonstration toothbrush. (Its accompanying giant smiling plastic molar would also be very useful, but I will assume this would not be allowed.) When the seas are too rough to use the toothbrush as a fishing raft, I could wield it to fight off aggressive monitor lizards or other forms of hostile indigenous life. I would name the toothbrush 'Oral-B' and he would become my only true companion in solitude. To keep my mind productively occupied, I could provide legal services for Oral-B until my Massachusetts Bar status converts to 'inactive' 90 days after my anniversary date. After that, obviously I would have to provide a disclaimer to Oral-B to avoid unauthorized practice of law whenever he and I discuss his lawsuit against the lizards."

Paula K. Andrews – Hinckley, Allen & Snyder
"My pillow (king size, of course) that I like to take with me whenever I can when I travel. So why not also bring it along to a desert island? I would use the pillow case during the day to shield my face from the sun and at night as a shawl to keep me warm. I would also use the case as a flag to wave at low flying search planes that surely my firm would send to rescue me."

Ellen S. Kief – Law Office of Ellen S. Kief
"There was no mention of a supply of toothpaste accompanying the toothbrush. Therefore, I would choose a nice comfy pillow and use my finger and sand to brush my teeth. You never know who you may run into on a desert island!"

John N. Affuso – Massachusetts Port Authority
"Pillow. If you are alone on a desert island, no one will care how your breath smells and you could rinse your mouth with seawater. Resting your head on a comfortable pillow every night is way more important." |

Nancy Weissman – Attorney at Law
"Toothbrush, of course – dental hygiene is key. May I also have a copy of Elementary Shipbuilding?"
