"Would you want free chocolate whenever you wanted it for one year or free potatoes forever?"

Joan Mitrou – WilmerHale
"Potatoes, because you can't julienne chocolate and fry it without it melting."

Paul Lannon – Holland & Knight
"An important question.  Having an Irish background, I have a fondness for spuds.  I would gladly take the potatoes for life."

Dara Kesselheim – Choate, Hall & Stewart
"This may be influenced by the fact that I am 39 weeks pregnant, but definitely free chocolate for a year.  I’d mix it up, of course.  Chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate milk, hot fudge sundaes... YUM!"

Geoff Williamson – Bromberg & Sunstein
"A year of free chocolate doesn’t appeal to me, as I’m not a chocolate fan.  But even if I were offered a snack I love, how could I turn down the potatoes?  If I could guarantee that I would never have to go hungry as long as I live, it would be completely reckless to turn down lifetime security in favor of a quick treat."

Julie Clinton – WilmerHale
"I would go chocolate all the way.  There are way too many carbs in potatoes –  chocolate is clearly the healthy choice!"

Sara Bryant – Murtha Cullina
"Without a doubt the free chocolate.  And if I didn’t answer that question quickly enough, it’s even more obvious when I realize that I’d presumably have to cook these free potatoes.  I’d have them sitting around the kitchen, growing eyes, and I’d constantly be thinking, ‘Ugh, I should really cook those potatoes.’  Or, instead, I could have a blissful year of eating every meal thinking, ‘Hmmm...Which delicious chocolate am I going to eat when I’d done here...?’  It's a no-brainer."
