The BBA's Public Interest Leadership Program's Community Reentry
Readiness Series at the Federal District Court is officially underway after a
March 6th seminar on driving licenses. The seminar, led by Foley Hoag's Eric
Haskell, tackled how to handle common drivers license issues among
probationers.
The 7 part pilot program has gotten off to a great start, and Haskell
agrees:
“We had a great session this week! The participants were engaged and
interested, and asked many thoughtful questions. Getting a license is
something that most people take for granted, but when you have long-term
unresolved issues, it can get really complicated.
It's a privilege for our PILP class to serve the CARE and RESTART
participants. We're all eagerly looking forward to the remaining
sessions.”
