A part of the Business Law Section, the Energy & Telecommunications Law Committee addresses regulatory and related issues affecting the natural gas, electric, and telecommunications industries in Massachusetts, on the federal level, and in other jurisdictions. Members typically practice before the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, and state and federal courts. Monthly luncheon meetings feature guest speakers such as regulators, public officials and experienced practitioners.
