A part of the Business Law Section, the Pro Bono Committee, started in 2001, grew out of a strong sense that there were significant numbers of business and transactional lawyers who were interested in using their skills to perform pro bono work but had not found sufficient opportunities to do so. The committee today provides a means for business attorneys to perform pro bono work for individuals and organizations.
