RoHS Regulatory Requirements Update
Stuart Sleeman, Material Content Manager for the ESH Department of Sensata Technologies, will discuss how the European WEEE and RoHS directives have affected US multinationals and EU Member countries. He will also discuss what you will need to put in place for and the potential impact of China’s version of the RoHS directive which will become effective on January 1, 2007.

Practical Issues Involved in Permitting and Developing
Kenneth A. Reich of Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen LLP will discuss practical issues involved in permitting and developing. Mr. Reich will discuss his experience with a coal-fired power plant in Montana.
The issues involved include mercury regulation and control, greenhouse gas emission control, and the interplay between the proposed coal-fired power plant and wind power in the region. Although the project is occurring in the northwest portion of the country, certain lessons transcend geographic lines. |

Brownfields 2006 – A Revolution in Redevelopment & Revitalization
A national conference cosponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and the International City/County Management Association, Brownfields 2006 will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from November 13 – 15, 2006. Now in its 11th year, this is the first time the free conference is being held in New England. The conference program includes more than 150 educational sessions, panels, roundtables, mobile workshops, and walking tours.
