A part of the Intellectual
Property Law Section, the Computer & Internet Law Committee
focuses on the full range of legal issues that affect the computer, multimedia
and telecommunications industries. The areas covered include federal and
state regulation, intellectual property, contracts, employment, civil and
criminal litigation, corporate and business law, taxation, export control,
finance, libel, privacy and publicity rights, obscenity, defamation, antitrust
and international law, as well as technical standards and commercial protocols.
The committee meets monthly over lunch to hear presentations by members
and guests speakers. |
