The International Intellectual Property Law Committee is a joint effort of the International Law Section and Intellectual Property Law Section to bring together practitioners and others concerned with the state of intellectual property in multiple countries and pursuant to multi-national accords -- including effective/economic perfection and protection of IP rights, defenses against IP abuses, technology transfer and other licensing and venture transactions, as well as collateral issues (of taxation, accounting, export controls, immigration, bankruptcy, security interests, ownership, governments' infringements and compulsory licensing, civil and criminal procedure/remedies/evidence, ADR, telecommunications and data controls, public and private R&D funding, public sensibilities and education) affecting IP development and exploitation.
