A part of the Real Estate Section, the Affordable Housing Committee, formed in 1999, deals with all issues related to affordable housing. The goals of the Committee are to educate the local bar concerning new initiatives in financing and developing affordable housing, increase the availability and decrease the cost of delivering legal services to the affordable housing community, and serve as an advocate for affordable housing legislation.
