The Tax Section provides a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas and information concerning federal and state tax laws and regulation. Through its frequent participation in the legislative and administrative processes, the section is very involved in efforts to improve and clarify the tax laws and the procedures for their implementation, and to improve the administration of the tax law as it affects tax practitioners and the public at large.
