Addressing a broad array of matters of interest to lawyers representing or regulating banks, insurance companies, investment advisers and other financial services businesses.

Annual Meeting Featuring Piper Kerman

The Boston Bar Annual Meeting is one of the largest legal community gatherings of its kind. The event is an opportunity for Boston Bar members, their friends & colleagues, as well as leaders from a variety of professional sectors throughout the Commonwealth to come together for an afternoon of inspiration and thought leadership focused on the law and the evolving landscape of the legal profession.

This year’s Annual Meeting will feature Piper Kerman, author of Orange is the New Black. Piper is an outspoken advocate of criminal justice reform. She has testified in the Senate on solitary confinement and treatment of women in prisons. Piper was also invited to speak at the Obama White House about the need to support and expand re-entry and employment programs nationwide. We are excited to host a speaker whose passion and work align so well with the Boston Bar mission.
