On February 16, the Intellectual Property Law Section hosted the brown bag program Issues in Academic Copyright. At this program, Dave Kluft of Foley Hoag lead a discussion on current issues in copyright law for scholars and academic institutions, including fair use and plagiarism in scholarly publishing, electronic reserves and digitization by libraries and universities (including the Georgia State University and HathiTrust cases), and institutional copyright policies.
