BBA Names Beacon Award Selection Committee

As the Boston Bar Association's efforts to identify models of excellence in diversity and inclusion initiatives gain traction, the BBA has named the eight attorneys who will serve on the 2012 Beacon Award Selection Committee. The BBA's Beacon Award was established just two years ago to recognize institutions or individuals who have an exceptional impact in advancing diversity and inclusion in one or more of these areas: legal scholarship, recruitment and retention practices, pro bono, community service, legal advocacy, and legislative advocacy. The award recipient must either be located in Massachusetts or have had a significant impact in Massachusetts and or the Greater Boston community.

  • Mentoring Committee
    The Boston Bar Association (BBA) recognizes the need to create long lasting relationships within the legal community in Boston. In order to do this, the BBA launched a Mentoring Program populated with seasoned attorneys in the Boston area to provide guidance, encouragement and necessary exposure to a diverse group of attorneys.
