About the Program

The Boston Bar Association understands that a clear indicator of career success for lawyers in general -- and diverse lawyers in particular -- is having a supportive mentoring environment to encourage the creation of long lasting relationships within the legal community. To that end, the BBA’s Group Mentoring Program promotes the development of a new generation of diverse leaders at the BBA by providing a neutral platform for tackling career challenges, building connections and fostering success.

For Mentees:

The Group Mentoring Program is open to lawyers from all backgrounds and practice areas who have been admitted to the bar for five years or less. The program requires participation in monthly group meetings and other program-wide events. Each mentoring group is led by 2 experienced mentors and about 10 new lawyer mentees.

The application form is available here. Contact Maggie DeMoura, Membership Outreach Coordinator at mdemoura@bostonbar.org to learn more. You may also access our Mentoring Handbook and application.

For Mentors:
