From The Sustainable Lawyer: Farmers Finding Legal Help Through Conservation Law Foundation

Here at TSL, we have a long history of identifying programs and initiatives that benefit sustainability and green living. That’s why when we heard about Conservation Law Foundation’s Legal Services Food Hub, we thought it was the perfect chance to return to the spotlight.

The Legal Services Food Hub, in simplest terms, is a legal services network that will provide pro bono services to lower income farmers, food entrepreneurs and food related organizations/groups (hereby known as the three f’s).

BBA Housing Court Program Reaches Over 15,000 in 15 Year History

Did you know that approximately 90 percent of tenants and 50 percent of landlords in the Boston Housing Court don’t have legal representation? Since 1999, the BBA’s Lawyer for the Day in the Housing Court Program has acted as a lifeline for pro se landlords and tenants, with volunteers providing more than 15,000 pro se litigants with legal assistance.
