On April 9, the Intellectual Property Law Committee hosted the brown bag lunch program "The Fall of Prometheus and Remand of Myriad: The Supreme Court Continues to Shake the 101 Tree." At this program, speakers Leslie McDonell and Michael Robert McGurk, both of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, provided an depth analysis of the Supreme Court’s Prometheus holding, and its subsequent decision to remand the Myriad case back to Federal Circuit. The speakers discussed the cases and also provided some forward looking insights.
