On April 4, the Labor & Employment Law Section hosted the CLE program Whistleblowers and Retaliation Claims. At this seminar, attendees learned what protections are available to employees who suffer retaliation after blowing the whistle on their employers, and the potential financial benefits under the federal statutes. The panel also discussed what employers can do to insulate themselves from being tagged with whistleblower and retaliation claims, including recommended steps on how to revise existing protocols and internal compliance procedures.
