Calling All New Lawyers: Interested in getting involved in the BBA Trusts & Estate Section?

Interested in getting involved in the BBA Trusts & Estate Section, but not sure where to start?  The New Developments Committee is currently looking for new members, and the Section is also looking for writers for its blog. Here are messages from the committee co-chairs:

New Developments Committee of the T&E Section
The New Developments Committee meets approximately four times per year and we gather to discuss recent developments in Massachusetts case law regarding trusts and estates.  We choose cases to summarize for the Mid-Year and Annual BBA Trusts & Estates Review, BBA seminars held in June and December.  Participating in this committee is an easy way to be involved in the BBA, meet other colleagues in the profession, and keep up to date with Massachusetts trusts & estates case law.  It is ‘easy lifting’ with each member writing one or two case summaries a year.

T&E Section Blog
If you enjoy writing and are interested in becoming more involved with the BBA Trusts & Estates Section, you may want to consider becoming a Contributing Author to the BBA Trusts and Estates Blog.  We are always looking for new members who are interested in researching and summarizing updates in the law, case decisions and any other relevant trusts and estates materials.  We periodically send out blasts seeking volunteers for topics we find, and we also highly encourage you to contact us with ideas for articles!  Click here to check out the blog and please contact the co-chairs if you are interested in writing an article or have ideas for topics!
