Training: Assist Homeowners Facing Tax Foreclosure

The BBA is excited to launch a new pro bono project to address an issue for Massachusetts households -- tax lien and tax title foreclosures. If the foreclosure is successful, the homeowner will not only lose their home, but he/she will also lose all the equity in the property. This training will provide attorneys with an in-depth look at the issue and with the tools needed to assist homeowners facing tax foreclosure. After attending this training, attorneys can sign up to assist homeowners on Thursdays each month.
