On April 4, the Practice Fundamentals Committee hosted the brown bag lunch program Charitable Planning Opportunities. At this program, speaker Donald Etheridge of Harvard Business School provided a broad overview of charitable planning techniques, including split interest gifts such as CLAT’s & CRUT’s, etc. He helped program participants understand the context when these gifts may be appropriate for clients to consider and provide useful insights on how to evaluate which techniques may be most appropriate.
