CLE - Understanding the Land Court: The Ins & Outs of Litigating and Dealing with the Registered Land System

Description:

This informative CLE program is the perfect opportunity to learn more about litigating in the Land Court and dealing with registered land.  The first panel, consisting of Associate Justice Robert B. Foster of the Land Court and seasoned Land Court litigators Larry Heffernan of Robinson & Cole and Diane Tillotson of Hemenway & Barnes will discuss the rules, procedures, and best litigation practices of the Land Court. 

The second panel, consisting of Land Court Chief Title Examiner Edmund A. Williams, along with Stephen M. Edwards of Wilmer Hale and Marie Franco of First American Title Insurance Company, will talk about the ins and outs of the registered land system.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet the panelists one-on-one during the reception to follow.  

After this seminar, attendees will know the best practices of the Land Court from both a litigation and transactional standpoint.
