The Environmental Law Section invites you to the 6th Annual Environmental Law
Section Ski Trip, with an optional overnight stay the night before in Jackson,
N.H. at a local ski lodge. Downhill skiing is planned for Wildcat Mountain, 10
minutes north of Jackson to take advantage of the March Friday discounted
tickets ($40). Wildcat Mountain is ranked #1 for scenery in the East looking
across the valley at Mount Washington and has both challenging expert trails and
novice trails from the summit. Cross-country skiers can explore the extensive
Jackson Ski Touring trail system, which can be reached only a ½ mile from the
Jackson ski lodge. Après ski can be held back at the lodge.
This year we are changing our normal day ski trip and offering an optional
overnight stay at a rustic ski lodge on Thursday, February 28, as we did with
the very successful fall hike. A hearty dinner, warm fires, ping pong and
stories of White Mountain adventures will fill the evening. The lodge will serve
as a convenient base camp for the Friday downhill and cross country skiing. Day
trip skiers also have the option to carpool north Friday morning.
We hope you will join us on this year's trip! Carpooling both Thursday
afternoon and Friday morning will be developed once we have a skier list.
