Insights into the Judicial Nominating Process and Becoming a Massachusetts Judge

Description:

The Diversity and Inclusion Section has invited Marilyn Lyng O'Connell, the Executive Director of the Judicial Nominating Commission to provide insight and practical advice about navigating the judicial nominating process and becoming a Massachusetts judge.  The following judges will share their own experiences with the selection and confirmation process:  Judge Geraldine S. Hines, who has ascended to the Appeals Court after her tenure with the Superior Court, Judge Shannon Frison, who has been confirmed for the Superior Court after serving with the Boston Municipal Court, and Norfolk Probate and Family Court Judge Angela M. Ordonez.
