CLS Bank v. Alice Corp.: Making Sense of the Federal Circuit's En Banc Decision

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Boston Bar Association - 16 Beacon Street, Boston, MA

Description:

The Federal Circuit's recent en banc decision in CLS Bank v. Alice Corp. illustrates the divisions within the court of appeals regarding patentable subject matter.  During this brown bag lunch program, patent attorneys from Finnegan LLP will review the CLS case and offer analysis, including thoughts about making sense of the different views at the Federal Circuit.  The discussion will approach the application of CLS to both software and business method claims and medical diagnostics claims.  The program will include a hopefully lively Q&A discussion amongst the attendees.
